I don’t know whether or not you believe that coconut oil weight loss programs actually work. But I am a true believer of them. My wife started out on a coconut oil weight loss diet about six weeks ago. When she started, she was only planning on losing about a pound a week. Already, she has lost almost 20 pounds!  The coconut diet is amazing. I might even try it out. After all, since I have started blogging for a living, I have noticed that my pants have started to shrink. Anyway, I am going to tell you about my wife’s coconut oil weight loss diet and how it works. For every 50 pounds of weight that you have, you want to take about 1 tablespoon of coconut oil a day. For instance, if you weigh 200 pounds, you’ll want to take 4 tablespoons of coconut oil per day. You can take 2 tablespoons of coconut oil in the morning right before breakfast, and 2 tablespoons of coconut oil right before dinner. Then, you want to cut the amount of Carbs that you eat for breakfast and dinner by 50%. Basically what you are doing is you are substituting carbohydrates in your diet for fat. But coconut oil is one of the most healthy fats that you can take into your body. It actually takes a lot of energy for your body to break down and digest the fat that is found in coconut oil. This is why coconut oil for weight loss works!


Now don’t think just because you saw somebody on Biggest Loser lose 100 pounds in four weeks, that you’re going to be able to do the same. Not only is that goal unrealistic, it is also not very healthy for you. Before you start the coconut oil weight loss diet, you need to set goals. My wife had a goal to lose a pound per week. That goal is easy, simple, and realistic. Also, it is very easy to measure your results. And the other advantage about going slowly on a diet is that you don’t give up as easily. You actually get excited when you see that you are hitting your goal, and you want to continue being on the diet. This is the way that it is supposed to work when you go on a coconut oil diet.

Another reason why a Coconut oil weight loss diet works so well is because you are still getting the nutrition that your body needs. Virgin coconut oil is very high in nutritional value. This means that your body doesn’t have to sacrifice nutrition in order for you to lose weight. People who go on a Coconut oil diet can actually look healthier well they are dieting.
Another thing that is great about the coconut oil diet is that you get your lipids and cholesterol. I have met a lot of people on hCG diet. Believe me, these people have a severe hormone imbalance.  After seeing several people struggle to maintain their sanity when they were doing hCG, I told my wife there is no way that I was going to let her do this type of diet. The nice thing about the coconut oil diet is that you have all of the lipids you need to maintain regular hormone levels. If you’re a guy, you don’t have to worry about your testosterone levels decreasing just because you are on a diet.  As a matter fact, you may actually have higher levels of healthy hormones while you are on a coconut oil diet than you have ever had in your life!
